Jesse I is one of Melbournes most consistent promoters of Jamaican music.
Making a start in 1997 with his radio show Chant Down Babylon,
he has beenshowcasing his passion and of knowledge music ever since.
Along side Ras Crucial, He established Chantdown sound. Their long
running monthly reggae/dacehall event More fire has been entertaining and
inspiring people since 2001.
He can be found djing around town most weekends, and you can
catch him on the mic under the moniker Fadda Hype.

King Ru (RuCL) is one of the most dynamic artists to emerge from the Hip Hop/Dancehal and reggae scene.

A ‘Jahstralian” (Jamaican?Australian heritage) based in Melbourne,
King Ru is an explosive entertainer with world wide appeal.

He has just returned from time in the UK and Jamaica, fully loaded and
ready to go.

Killa Cat made history this year, being the first Australian to ever
compete in the International Dancehall Queen Competition in
Jamaica. She’ll be performing her competition routine
at I love dancehall on the 5th – don’t miss it.

She is a busy lady about town, performing with Burn City Queenz,
and running dance classes and events through Jungle City Projects.



International dj and Hype man Zare Demus, always brings those nice
Island style vibes. His selection is always on point, with his lively
stage presence and pure enjoyment of what he does.

Jamaican born, Zare is pushing the music of his home land though his dj
work and through on line radio station Australia reggae radio. Focusing on
reggae/dancehall and all its variations.

DJ Ms Butt has been performing on the Melbourne club circuit since 2002,
bringing uplifting global party styles to dancefloors across the city.

She is part of nouveau tropical soundsystem ‘Congo Tardis #1’
with fellow Melbourne DJ/ producers Paz and Lewis CanCut.

Reggae and dancehall were the lures that started her DJ career,
she will get your booty moving with the best dancehall from all eras.

Nightwrk is an Australian producer, DJ and performer known for
crafting retro-futuristic dance music from jilted drum machines and
throbbing synthesizers.

He also plays a mean dancehall set and draw influences
from the legacy and future of late nite soundsystem culture…
